We are a family owned company based in Louisville, Kentucky started in 1947 by our founder Mr. Goodman Tasman. The main line of business is raw cattle hides for the leather industry. In 2006 we were approached by the Bison industry to take raw Bison Hides, which we cured and processed for sale to the leather industry. In 2007, we acquired a tannery in Hartford, Wisconsin, where we began to tan the Bison into Leather and came up with the idea of making the best rawhide chew treats available for dogs. The Bison are truly 100% natural animals from the time they hit the plains till they hit the dinner table. There are never any hormones or antibiotics used and while they are ranch raised, they live predominantly the way they did thousands of years ago.
