DUMB FRIENDS LEAGUE www.ddfl.org As the leading animal welfare organization in the Rocky Mountain region, the Dumb Friends League has been helping pets and people in the Denver metro area and beyond for nearly 100 years. Last year alone, the Dumb Friends League took in 26,832 animals, and of those animals, the organization placed more than 90 percent of the healthy, treatable dogs and cats in new, loving homes. THE MISHA MAY FOUNDATION www.mishamayfoundation.org The Misha May Foundation, dedicated to preventing the euthanasia of neglected and untrained homeless dogs through affordable training, routinely patrols local shelters for dogs whose time is running out. Misha May relies exclusively on people to foster all rescued dogs. Eventually, the group hopes to have a year-round training and lodging facility where rescued dogs will be housed and trained prior to adoption. DREAMPOWER ANIMAL RESCUE www.dreampower.org The mission of Dreampower Animal Rescue is to provide adoption services for companion animals, sponsor educational programs and furnish health services to those animals in our foster-care network. MAXFUND www.maxfund.org The MaxFund is a non-profit organization established in May 1988 to provide medical care for injured pets with no known owners, and to seek out new homes for these animals once they have recovered. The MaxFund is a no-kill dog and cat shelter. MaxFund assists hundreds of people and animals each year by trying to make the correct match between owner and pet. The MaxFund is a no-kill shelter.
